We are Mary Jurgens-Jones & Mimi Rasmussen. Many people know us as the gals who love to travel and have fun! We enjoy thinking “outside of the box” for different travel ideas. Now, we have started our own business. Travel Chicks LLC focuses on small group travel; planning fantastic adventures & exploring unforgettable destinations! We accompany our travel groups making sure that all details are taken care of and that everyone is having a wonderful time! All you need to do is relax and enjoy!
We have been friends, raised children, traveled, and worked with each other for over 45 years and are still going strong! Anyone who has ever met us for the first time always asks if we are sisters because we complement each other so well!
Mimi: “I am a deep-rooted family type of person. I was a teacher for 37+ years and thoroughly enjoyed working with children & their families. But now it’s time for the next chapter! It’s time to “kick up my heels” and have a different kind of fun! I love the wonder and excitement of traveling to new destinations!”
Mary: “I have had a variety of professions in the field of design. Floral work, Graphic design, Beading and Stitching. I am currently an Event Coordinator with weddings, receptions, parties, etc. at The Gathering Place Wedding and Party Venue in Milton, WI. I have lived in 29 different states and have always enjoyed every new location for a variety of reasons. I am looking forward to our new travel adventure!”
